Cruce Andino

Cruce Andino

The Cruce Andino is an international tourist adventure
What began as a commercial route is now one of the most popular routes in Chilean-Argentine Patagonia: 180 kilometres of travel. The history of the Cruce Andino began in 1913 as a way to unite these two neighbouring countries by crossing the backbone of South America, to become a true ecological adventure. This bi-national circuit offers passengers the opportunity to marvel at the nature of two Andean environment national parks, the Vicente Pérez Rosales in Chile and the Nahuel Huapi in Argentina, and to visit magical places such as Peulla and Puerto Blest, as it crosses the most colourful sector of Patagonia.
