In spring and summer take advantage of La Serena's beaches, stroll along the long Avenida del Mar or go shopping at the Recova, the area's most famous market and craft fair.

In Coquimbo, don't miss La Herradura beach and the nightlife of the Barrio Inglés. You can also try your luck at the casino.
